Girl Scout Cookies, also known as GSC, is an indica-hybrid marijuana strain made by crossing OG Kush with Durban Poison. By crossing two super popular strains, the underground breeding collective Cookie Family (or Cookie Fam) has been able to elevate THC levels to a whopping average of 25% to 28% and boast CBD and CBN contents to 1% as well. GSC boasts high THC-production and a marvelously well-balanced high. It is also a very productive plant with high pest-resistance.

Girl Scout Cookies cannabis seeds are a good choice for gardeners both new and old – the strain is not that difficult to cultivate, and offers up an average to high yield. If you live in a warm and humid climate, you could have good success with an outdoor Girl Scout Cookies crop; otherwise, indoors is ideal. The plants – which lean more toward indica in their short to medium height and bushy appearance – lend themselves well to the “Sea of Green” low-stress training method. This strain has an average flowering stage of eight to 10 weeks. Indoors flowering takes between 58 - 70 days yielding around 500 gr/m2. Outdoors, where plants can reach a height of 200 cm, harvest is in October with each plant producing upwards of 700 gr. of buds.

From a medical perspective, Girl Scout Cookies is an excellent stress-reliever, sending anxiety and depression down the drain as it eases away worries. At the same time, this strain can induce sleep at the close of its effect, provides impressive pain-killing power, and can trigger appetite. These latter two effects make Girl Scout Cookies a good choice for people undergoing chemotherapy or struggling with anorexia.
 There are several phenotypes of this strain that include other clever plays on the plant’s former name, such as Thin Mint and Platinum Cookies, however, GSC stands out from the pack with its bright purple leafiness and twisting greenery. The taste is sweet, spicy and fruity. THC levels are amazing and the effect is a potent combination of cerebral stimulation and physical relaxation.
